The Shabbos will be host to a variety of timely topics, from "Generating Generations: Crisis in the Jewish Family" to "Is there a Minhag America?", and classes will be at various locations in the Beachwood-University Heights area. Motzei Shabbos, JLC invites you to a premeire showing of Rabbi Wein's newest film: "Faith & Fate: 'A New Beginning' 1949-1957 ...the Real Story of the Arab Israeli Conflict." Our first new class is Shabbos - an Island in Time with Rabbi Nisenbaum, a four-part series on Monday evenings at 8pm. Additionally, Rabbi Stoll will be teaching an excellent 8-part series on The Keys to Successful Relationships. Both Rabbi Goldstein and Rabbi Thav will be continuing their Talmud 101 and Learn to Learn Chumash classes respectively. 14 July 2009: "Classes" Updated

posted Jul 14, 2009 7:44 PM by Cleveland JLC -

The "Classes" page has been overhauled and updated to reflect changes in the schedule that have occurred over the past year; it is now accurate. One interesting update: the chain of "series" that has been happening on Monday nights now has an official place on the schedule. The current series is the intriguing "Real Life Dilemmas in Jewish Law" - you still have time to attend the third and fourth part of this four-part series.

Please note that events have been added to the calendar - including a special Chofetz Chaim Video Presentation for Tisha b'Av, as well as JLC's now-annual Picnic at Euclid Creek Metroparks. More events are scheduled to be added soon, including some special guests during the first week of August - stay tuned!

Well, we pushed up the timeline a bit - instead of bringing JLC's MP3 Shiur library online mid-summer, it's available now! Beginning with a special four-part series on Kashrus from January, we hope to see the MP3 library expand to many more shiurim soon.

The launch of the MP3 shiur library comes on the heels of our introduction of the new Announcements section last week, as well as the reorganization of the website menu system.

As always, stay tuned as we continue to update and improve the site. If you have any questions or suggestions, please email them to CleveJLC@gmail.com, and include "Website" in the subject heading.

Enjoy your visit to Cleveland JLC online!

12 April 2008: Pesach Kasher v'Samayach! The website is undergoing some more changes. Most notably, the navigation to the menus to the left have been reorganized, in order to provide a more sensible placement for future expansion of the website (such as the MP3 library, scheduled to open beginning in the middle of this summer).

In addition, an Announcements section has been added.
